SalatOnTime: Pray & Quran app for iPhone and iPad

1. Most Accurate Prayer Times:
SalatOnTime is an application with the most accurate prayer times. To calculate prayer times two astronomical measures are necessary, the declination of the sun and the difference between clock time and sundial clock. This difference being the result of the eccentricity of the earth’s orbit and the inclination of its axis, it is called the Equation of time. The declination of the sun is the angle between sun’s rays and the equator plan.

2. Different Calculation Methods:
It supports different conventions for calculating prayer times. SalatOnTime lists several well-known conventions currently in use in various regions.

3. Database Of Mosques:
The database contains information on all the mosques we have been able to locate in the entire world. You can continually make changes this list and always welcome corrections and additions. This searchable database contains the Masjid’s name, Its address, real-time information: (prayer times, amenities, waiting time for each prayer, ….
SalatOnTime allows you to update the information of each mosque (or a prayer room) and / or add a completely non-existent one. You will also be able to add comments for additional information.

4. Pray [Salat Time, Salaat Time, Salah] On Time:
The purpose of SalatOnTime is to help you attend each prayer (salat) at the nearest mosque by calculating several possible routes according to different modes of transport (Car, Bike, Public Transport and Walk) between your current GPS position and this mosque.

5. Holy Quran:
You can read the holy Quran in your preferred riwayat: Hafs, Warsh, Qaloun, Ad-Douri and Shubah. SalatOnTime displays Quran in beautiful images and tafsir option.
